Brionna "Bri" Williams is a multifaceted dance artist, choreographer and educator from Atlanta, GA. Her love for movement began at just two years old after attending her very first dance recital — a moment that sparked a lifelong passion. Her mother immediately enrolled her in dance classes, and the rest, as she says, is history.
Over the years, Brionna trained extensively in ballet, modern, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop and heels, receiving her foundational training from the McClendon School of Dance under the direction of Denise McClendon. As a teenager, she continued refining her craft at Atlanta’s Resource for Entertainment and Arts, where she also explored modeling, acting, and musical theatre.
Brionna attended the DeKalb School of the Arts, majoring in Dance. In 2010, she made her feature film debut as a dancer in Tyler Perry’s For Colored Girls, marking her first professional screen credit. She went on to earn a B.F.A. in Dance Education and Performance from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, graduating in May 2015.
During her undergraduate studies, she performed works by esteemed choreographers including Ronen Koresh, Mark Caserta, Douglas Becker, Sharon Eyal, Robert Battle, Sidra Bell, Helen Simoneau, and Netta Yerushalmy, among others. Shortly after graduation, she returned to her alma mater in Fall 2015 as Rehearsal Director for choreographer, Tommie Waheed Evans. As a freelance performer, Brionna worked with Virgil “Lil O” Gadson, Curt Haworth, Janice Rosario, Mark Haim, and Katherine Stark, while also teaching ballet at L&L Dance Productions and Leaders and Legends Performing Arts Center to students ages 7–18.
Now represented by Xcel Talent Agency, Brionna has appeared in hit television series such as Empire, Step Up: High Water, P-Valley, CW’s Legacies, and The Ellen Show. Her commercial credits include a national campaign for Vaseline, and she has danced for music superstars including Ne-Yo, Ciara, DaBaby, Megan Thee Stallion, K. Michelle, Kanye West, Iggy Azalea, Shenseea, and more.
Brionna is the founder of “Move with Bri”, a global dance brand rooted in empowerment, artistry, and storytelling through movement. Her classes range from heels technique and hip-hop fusion to contemporary and improvisation. She is proud to guide dancers around the world in building confidence and discovering their highest potential through the art of dance.
